Fencing 210
Intermediate Foil Skills & Tactics

Month-to-month, one hour per week (multiple times per week okay with additional fee)
Pre-requisites: 115 Basic Foil Skills challenge (PDF file of the study guide).

  • Section 1: Thursdays 7:00-8:00 p.m. (Mr. Heggen)

Students may join any time. Students joining after the second class meeting for the month will have their tuition pro-rated.

$15/month includes one class per week.

This class introduce a small amount of new technique, and applies the students existing technical skills in a tactical setting. This is a skill-building class to introduce tactical fencing to the student's game. Topics for a given session will depend upon the needs of the group.

Students need knickers or fencing pants, fencing jacket (cotton preferred), underarm protector, breastplate or cups (for females), mask, fencing glove, and athletic shoes.

We anticipate that most students fresh out of Fencing 115 will spend at least a year in Fencing 210.

To register, just send us a check for $15 or stop in. Make sure you include your student's name and a contact phone number.

When the student believes he or she is ready, the student may challenge the class (details coming later). To schedule a challenge examination, please ask Rusty or Mr. Heggen. A successful challenge is a pre-requisite for higher level foil classes at the salle.
