Fencing 111
Introduction to Fencing II

Two months, 2 hours once per week.
Pre-requisite: 110 or 110DC (or equivalent)
Contact us for the date and time of the next class.

The classes focus on foil fencing, but much of the technique overlaps to other weapons. The classes introduce competition and further footwork and bladework. This is the second of a three-class series.

One all-inclusive fee of $180 includes class, use of equipment (except for a fencing glove and underarm protector), and base monthly fee (allows use of the salle during open floor times).

Students need sweat pants or tights (no jeans or cargo pants), a T-shirt (short or long sleeves required -- no tank tops), and athletic shoes. Students who wish to begin purchasing their own equipment are welcome, but not required, to do so.

By the end of class, successful students will be able to compete for their school (high schools with fencing clubs in their schools can compete against each other) and/or for Salem Classical Fencing (adults and youths can participate in American Fencing League competitions). They will also be ready for 112 Introduction to Fencing III.

To register, just send us a check for $180 (50% deposit is okay, too) or stop in. Or, you can pay online. Make sure you include the student's name and a contact phone number.
