Directions to West Salem High School

1776 Titan Drive NW, Salem, Oregon

Take Interstate 5 to the Mission Street/Hwy. 22 exit (Exit 253). 

Go west on Mission Street/Hwy 22 (into Salem). You will pass numerous car dealerships along the way. After about 1.7 miles, you will approach an overpass, where you will want to follow signs for Highway 22 West. You will branch to the right off the overpass. 

Continue following signs for Highway 22 West as you skirt the downtown area on a tree-lined boulevard. You will pass Willamette University on your right just after you get off the overpass. After almost a mile (just past the brand-new Salem Convention Center on your left), the street will turn sharply north (right). You will want to be in the right lane so that you can follow Highway 22 over the Willamette River.

Once on the bridge, you will want to get in on of the right two lanes. At the end of the bridge, take the Wallace Road/Hwy 221/Dayton exit. Stay to the right as you go down the offramp. You will bear sharply right at the foot of the offramp, which will place you on Wallace Road/Hwy 221 heading more or less north. 

You will go through the West Salem business district (pay attention to the places there for lunchtime possibilities!). After several traffic lights (and about 1/2 mile), you will come to the traffic light for Orchard Heights Road near the top of a rise.

Turn left (west) on Orchard Heights Road. Please pay attention to the traffic signal when turning left so that you don't get hit by oncoming traffic!

Follow Orchard Heights Road for almost 1.5 miles. Just past the traffic light at Doaks Ferry Road is the main driveway to the school. 

You will save yourself some steps by parking in the furthest lot in (closest to the gym and the athletic field). Follow the wide diagonal sidewalk toward the doors.
